PreCom Platform
PreCom is an end-to-end development platform developed by PocketMobile and in use by many partners and customers within diverse industries. PreCom is a Mobile Enterprise Application Platform (MEAP)* as defined by Gartner.
We are absolutely convinced that the best means of achieving long-term success within the field of mobile solutions is to base the development on established standards as far as is possible. It was with this philosophy in mind that we started the development of PreCom nearly ten years ago, and which paved the way for the strategic decision to choose Microsoft.NET as development environment, and base the development on Microsoft components.
The intention is to make the development of mobile solutions as simple and cost-effective as possible. With PreCom we have created a new standard which complements the over all Microsoft's development environment. Certified PreCom partners are able to develop towards PreCom no matter if the users are equipped with PC, Windows Mobile, Android, iOS or Windows Phone 7.
In order to achieve success we have a partnership strategy - we are currently collaborating with various partners in order to drive development forward. Choosing PreCom as mobile development platform is a reassurance for customers and partners, in both the long and short terms.
