PreCom is now installed in more than 3,000 Schenker vehicles Schenker has now installed PreCom in more than 3,000 vehicles in Sweden. The monitoring system allows administrators to check on the location of each truck and to match that information with the flow of incoming orders. Fredrik Jonasson, who works as Project Manager for Mobile Data, says the system enables the company's fleet to drive shorter distances with full loads and better information. Ericsson provides the mobile broadband technology for the solution and has produced a film that shows what services has been realized for Schenker by using mobile applications from PocketMobile.
