PocketMobile and Mobile Tornado have formed a partnership and will work together to lead the development of a mobile platform with functions such as push-to-talk based applications. The partnership has already resulted in a deal with G4S in Denmark, which has equipped 550 security guards with this type of mobile solution. The roll out for further security guards in other G4S countries has already begun. Together, PocketMobile and Mobile Tornado offer a first-class push-to-talk function, integrated with the end-to-end mobile development platform, PreCom. Using a mobile phone/PDA with walkie-talkie functionality is also useful in other industries - major interest has been noted among companies in field service, transportation, logistics, etc.
