developing on PreCom
EDB Ergo Group is now a PreCom Partner and will be able to deliver mobile solutions much faster and more effectively to its customers.
Norway’s largest IT-company EDB Ergo Group has signed a partnership agreement with PocketMobile. The EDB Ergo Group will now be able to deliver mobile solutions much faster and more effectively to its customers. The EDB ErgoGroup will develop and deliver mobile solutions and applications based on PocketMobile’s platform PreCom. PreCom Platform is one of the leading "Mobile Enterprise Application Platforms” (MEAP).

The future is mobile

The EDB ErgoGroup is already today delivering mobile solutions to various enterprises and has experienced a great interest from Norwegian banks, but cooperating with PocketMobile also makes it possible for the EDB ErgoGroup to deliver solutions to businesses within transport & logistics, service and installation companies, security companies and the home care sector.
Through the partnership with PocketMobile the EDB ErgoGroup will use PreCom Platform to develop new solutions in the following areas:
- Eco-driving and fleet management – real time information on driving patterns andfuel consumption
- Mobile order management - information in real-time on work orders, deliveries and deviations
- Positioning and navigation for transport & logistics
- Home and healthcare service – access to work orders via the mobile phone – real time updates on deviations and completed tasks
- Reduced administration through digitalization of service tasks and mobile item warehouse management
