We are proud to be able to contribute to environmental efforts through our business concept and activities. When companies use PreCom products they are directly contributing to an improved environment.
The tools for eco-driving, ISA and route planning all have a direct effect and contribute to reduced fuel consumption, improved driving discipline, lower road mileage and reduced carbon dioxide emissions.
The mobile way of working itself has an indirect, positive effect on the environment. An example is that employees don't have to travel back and forth to the office in order to print or submit reports. Aided by statistics from the system, companies can plan ahead in order to make more efficient, optimise and run their business in a more environmentally friendly direction. The insight into the opportunities to reduce the environmental impact within and with the aid of IT and mobile tools is increasing the initiative to produce a policy or develop a strategy for 'green IT' increases similarly.
General internal environmental policy
PocketMobile's environmental policy is a cornerstone of our business and present in the day-to-day running of our offices. The guidelines have been created in order to underline the importance of our shared environmental responsibility and how our individual efforts and working methods can make a difference. We continually monitor guidelines and processes in order to ensure that they are suitable, up to date and follow the development of "best practice".
